The Radio Frequency offers a treatment which works on the elastin and collagen fibres in the skin causing a shortening and tightening effect which gives an overall toning result on the skin. The effects of the Radio Frequency treatment work specifically on the skin as opposed to a micro-current treatment which works by repositioning the facial muscles.Due to the nature of high frequency oscillating current, the Carlton RF waves penetrate skin to a sub cutaneous level resulting in the fibroblasts being stimulated to start producing Collagen again. The RF current works on the fat cells, putting them under compression until they are dispersed, resulting in a refinement of facial contours. The vacuum suction application built into the hand piece is used to drain away any toxins produced by the treatment. The hand piece also contains Chroma/light therapy to enhance the treatment.
